NFL Wild Card Weekend: Texans Rout Browns 45-14

Stroud Leads Texans to First Playoff Win Since 2019

Houston Texans quarterback Kyle Stroud put on a dazzling performance on Saturday, leading his team to a resounding 45-14 victory over the Cleveland Browns in the AFC Wild Card round. It was a remarkable turnaround for the Texans, who had struggled throughout the regular season but found their rhythm in the playoffs.

The Texans' offense was unstoppable, with Stroud completing 24 of 32 passes for 325 yards and four touchdowns. Running back Dameon Pierce also had a standout game, rushing for 135 yards and a touchdown. The Browns, meanwhile, were unable to keep up with the Texans' high-powered offense, and quarterback Deshaun Watson was sacked five times.

The win sends the Texans to the AFC Divisional Round, where they will face the Kansas City Chiefs. It is the first time that the Texans have advanced to the Divisional Round since the 2019 season. The Browns, on the other hand, will now head into the offseason with a lot of questions to answer.
