Auckland Pride Festival Returns Invigorated and Defiant

Pride Month Takes Over Tāmaki Makaurau

The Auckland Pride Festival is set to return reinvigorated and defiant as ever as Pride Month will once again take over Tāmaki Makaurau from February 1-26, 2023. Rising to a higher position embracing our divine identities and celebrating the iconic.

An annual month-long celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community, Auckland Pride Festival 2023 will feature a diverse range of events, exhibitions, performances, and workshops. The festival will kick off with the Big Gay Out on February 1, a free all-ages event in the Auckland Domain. Other highlights of the festival include the Pride March on February 25 and the Pride Party on February 26.

"We are so grateful to our community for their incredible support," said Auckland Pride Festival director Max Tweedie. "This year's festival is going to be bigger and better than ever, with something for everyone to enjoy."
